We should certainly do our best to get together in 2021, as far as we feel we can, and are allowed. A September blitz sounds good to me. If we can't get the hall, perhaps we instigate the much discussed potential plan to hire a decent-sized place as a group, and stay, play and chill.

Another excellent idea.

Are you familiar with The Wicker Man..? It's the Ayton bio-pic.

Perhaps consider a virtual feed for those of us who'll be stuck on the other side of the world? A live stream of some of the games might be fun.

I'd be up for a four day get together. The play and stay idea has its attractions so long as it excludes Peeler's budget jacuzzi.

The cat herding of scheduling games will be an entertainment in itself. I'd be up for 18th century Imaginations, shiny soldiers and Kumbaya.

Maybe I will buy that Huey after all.
I know when to go out
I know when to stay in

Like Tim I don’t really see any reasons for optimism for May.

So I’m definitely up for something extended towards the back end of the year when it’s likely to be more be feasible. It sounds a great idea, and if would be nice for us to focus on planNing an event - that’s what this forum is all about !

We have a relative who had his covid jab this week, he's 91 and origionally from Holland. Remembers Nazi rule. That means EB won't be far behind in the que and the rest of us (should we choose to) should be safe by late in the year. Hopefully meeting you all again is in our sights. The sister in law just got a new job organizing covid jab appointments, it was a 6 month contract starting 4th Jan but they told her it would be at least a year in reality. I think that gives us some idea of what to expect in 2021 and when.
