I'm off to buy a new goluff driver having snapped mine on the w/e - not in temper I'd add
That'll curb my wargaming budget for a bit
I gave up golf partly due to my OA but mainly because on my last outing I hit a beautiful, straight 350 yard drive with 'Big Bertha'! Might as well bow out on a win.

The last time I got a hole in one it was in the Baltic on an all inclusive cruise. It makes the bar bill a lot easier on the wallet.
Just celebrated my recovery from Paupers Crutt by treating myself to a dozen new brushes from Rosemary & Co and a shedload of 15mm Sci Fi from GZG and Brigade. I feel better knowing I have new shinies to look out for.

I don't think any of Gaynors crowd would find themselves in the same sentence as the word 'beautiful'

I gave up golf due entirely to being shit at it. My driver was not much better, although he did once get a hole in one at the local pitch 'n' putt on his day off.

Basement Mark once hit a round of 198! Shame it was on the putting green.

It's a shame that it was a 150 yard par three...

Another purchase that probably won't make it to Kumayah this year although it will take precedence over the Centurion. A Rubicon 15 cwt CMP truck. According to Wikipedia, by the end of WWII the British were the most heavily motorised army in the world, having a vehicle for every 3 soldiers. Even the US had to share 1 between 7 troops.
The Rubicon kits are great! So much better than the Warlord/Italeri offerings. Could do with a Sherman myself.
I did see one on Ebay
