Being British I won't complain but I have tutted loudly.
Pretty sure I heard that whilst I was out walking the dog. It did seem quite loud, had you come south for the day, Redcar perhaps?

Redcar is north for me. Also I've been there on a Friday night before. never again,. It was like Escape from New York.

I think people have been complaining for a long time and not much seems to improve... I've only ever ordered a couple of time and clean up was a pain
Yep, endless worms to find and remove. A shame as their sculpting is great, but clearly nothing's improved with their casting.
I guess the worms are the price paid to ensure that the sculpting casts well.
Anyone disgruntled with Perry Miniatures for the amount of cleaning up needed should definitely avoid Redoubt's figures.
After cleaning up 24 trojans today I had enough scrap metal to cast enough one. The mould slippage is awful meaning that there are huge ridges around the whole figure. Poor clamping/old moulds means that most also have a halo of flash and a couple of chaps basically had cauliflowers rather than the right side of their face! The problem is that there is so much crap to remove that you destroy a lot of the "detail" doing it.
If I hadn't bought these figures about five years ago I think i'd have returned them as not up to snuff.

To be honest this is why I do not have a 28mm Trojan project, redoubt are not great, the foundry ones in their blisters at shows were not a lot better.
newline do some nice rank and file and cheap chariots but are slightly bland.
An I cannot afford to get them done in 28mm without a lottery win.

Museum are doing a new digital sculpted range in 15mm that look pretty good. Not sure if they're 3D printed or cast in metal.

They are cast in metal and if any of the other Z sculpt ranges are anything to go by, will be very nice.
Museums Z sculpt Greeks were my go to for the humans in the 15mm Greek myth setup I have.
(EDIT: I'm so stupid i've only just this second realised why the ranges are called Z sculpt
)

My mate Paul designed me some Kraal walls and sent me the STL so I can print as needed. Need to trim the corners for a closer fit, and shape the hardboard, but should hopefully be able to get this done before the weekend
