It was definitely two. Who can forget the look of joy on the pilot’s face as Randall,s shooting prowess forced the demon thing to drop him and fly away.

Another successful rescue!

Anyway, I believe we have established beyond all doubt that pretty much anybody can be a pilot.

I remember that. But where’s the body of the Gribbly? Video footage? Witnesses? I think Randy doth protest too much!

I reckon most people could probably do better. I mean he got us down alright, but that plane is a bloody write-off! I see lots of insurance paperwork in Derek’s future when we get back to NY

I heartily recommend hanging on to any and all paperwork.
When we score hallucinogenics off the natives, we’ll need something to make roll-ups.

Now if only Derek hadn’t totaled the bloody plane, we could take off happy as you please and not worry about the bomb Christine and Hillaire lost. I think our handler is just fear mongering. I mean what are the chances of a virus that could spread around the world killing hundreds of thousands of people?

Yeah, how hard can it be?

And seriously, if you have to land a crippled plane do you want it with or without the nuclear bomb on board? We can leave Captain Faintarse and his Boy Scouts to recover the very dangerous device, we need to learn more about this fascinating snake culture and it’s valuable artefacts.

Capt Faintarse certainly has the chin for that kind of thing!

Anyway, can you imagine how much costly, laborious deforestation that nuke is going to save the Bornean authorities?
Bloody godsend.
Can’t have a dispute over tribal land when there is no tribe.

And let’s not judge Captain Lancaster too harshly - he sounds like a British Superhero.

“Captain Lancaster vs. the City of Dresden”.

Who wouldn’t watch that?
