I particularly enjoyed this year, probably because quite uncharacteristically I had a plan and a list.
I felt that numbers were up on last year and that more people stayed around until later in the day. Someone suggested there were fewer trader stands. I don't know about that but they all seemed to be busy.
There were less big games but lots of little skirmish type things. Quite a few on raised table surfaces (copycats, eh?) I didn't see any of those static 'games' where nothing happens, which was quite refreshing.

Ive noticed that a lot recently all over the hobby. The big battle seems to be getting rarer.

Big bag of wooden discs from the arts & crafts section of ‘the Works’ discount bookshop.
110 pieces of 2mm plywood, 10, 20 & 30mm diameter - two quid.

Must be the "School holidays anti boredom programme ". I hope that there are some left when I go back to work on Wednesday.
