Greeks, Hoplites - everything about them is fantastic. Yet MG has not made me feel interested in any way. Not sure why. - certainly not based on any objective decision making.
The new Hoplitey thing from Osprey is due soon isnt it ?

I don’t like the Victrix Hoplites. They’re terrible. I really like the old Immortal ones now owned by Warlord. It also hasn’t done much for me as a rule set.
When it comes to Hoplites, I’m in the old skool big battle camp.

Wait for a couple of months, warlord has some fantastic hoplites coming. I know this because it means a sculptor I was about to use is now booked up until doomsday doing them.

If I did 25mm ancients I’d do it in vintage minifigs. Yes I’ve slapped that right on the table, Now what do you say about that ?
