Me Greeks/Macedonians , Andy imperial Romans, Henry Arabs, Iain (random I think ?). Hyboria style, old school don’t worry about accuracy. Warhammer Ancient Battles 1.5 edition. Shiny totally good but not compulsory. I’m doing non shiny but 70s figures only.

Well it had to happen some time... I've finally used up the last magnetic off-cuts bequeathed to me by my late (signwriter) mum, so have had to actually buy some.
She shuffled off this mortal coil in 2010 and I magnetically base EVERYTHING in my collection, so I haven't done too badly with my dear old mum's off-cuts.

Is the WAB book the one with the Romans’ and celts on?
What are unit sizes roughly, I’ve seen Henry has a very big one.

I think some doing units in 6/12 groups to allow future Rampanty type use. I've got a small pile of Warrior Imp Romans and they will be very shiny... With green bastex bases...

Dammit, I have some Minifigs Republican Romans that I have been ignoring. I'm not joining in but I might have to paint them for the shiny cabinet now.

WAB Bases are normally 20mm square for foot (25mm Square for Skirmishers) and 25mm x 50mm for Mounted. You can multibase in multoples of of course.

yes as Paul says. I'll be individually basing + using movement trays
Unit sizes are pretty flexible. 5 figures upwards i think. I'll be doing mine in multiples of 6 so that i can make my forces work with various Rampant rules as well. Probably 24 for heavy infantry. Probably larger for phalangites.
This is WAB 1.5 with the gold border. You could get away with 1.0 because the core rules are exactly the same but 1.5 has extra rules and clarifications as appendices. 1.0 is a lot cheaper on ebay. Dont get 2.0.
