It does happen in uncivilised parts.

You thought you had rain, as Dawn's crack opened this morning we got a November's worth of rain in abut half an hour. The road was so full of water that there was no traffic to wake me up till 10 AM.

I'm sure it's unintentional, but they do all look like the villain (The Hood?) off Thunderbirds, don't they?

Well, it is now 2019, Ayton is the week after next in painting terms. I better sort out which ones are actually coming along and which are "projects".
I'll throw it open to the floor.

- East Yorks Motor Services
Fraternal support from Soviet merchant seamen (honest)
Post Office Telegram Staff
Parish militia and the Ayton Rifles
Lord Derwent's retainers including Green Howard territorials
Vickers Light Tank
BA6 Armoured car
I know when to go out
I know when to stay in
Get things done

I'm probably avoiding any tanks, although the Vickers is sooo cute!Buff Orpington wrote: ↑Tue Jan 01, 2019 4:44 pm Well, it is now 2019, Ayton is the week after next in painting terms. I better sort out which ones are actually coming along and which are "projects".

For flavour i'd go for the East Yorks Motor services with the fraternal support and the BA6.

All sound good Buff. Soviet seamen sound fun.
Only one “special” remember as standard. Tanks aren’t especially good btw, see post 1 in the thread for force guidelines.
Will be slightly adjusting these soon. Playtesting has shown LMGs to be a bit too powerful so please limit to one per platoon rather than one per section. Which is probably a bit more probable for the forces involved too.

I was a bit doubtful about giving the cleaning ladies a Lewis gun. One for the platoon it is. I'll probably go for the bus crews and fitters along with the Ruskies and the BA6. Superb gun for its time and class but paper thin armour.
