That's what I thought. It's wrinklies and health workers first. Our government is not sure, but they reckon 63 with two conditions will be in the second group.

I understand about the elderly being vulnerable but there is a counter argument. You can set things up so that your 93 year old mum gets her shopping delivered but she won't be driving the van.

Interesting. I'm 62 next month and have four conditions (Type 2 Diabetes, asthma, atrial fibrillation - all at least partially inherited - and sleep apnoeia), as well as a blood group (A+) that apparently also makes me more susceptible. I'm in the last category (#6) on the priority list - 16-64 with underlying health conditions. Not saying I should be higher mind, but it does make you wonder why there's a difference in approach.

She’s really proud of one of you though so that helps make up for it

Part of the difference may be because the UK government has a number of vaccines, a number of peoplle, and an action plan. The Australian government is talking 3 months away, not a real date for an elected poly. They may be subdividing groups once reality arrives.

Hahahahahahahahaha.. The UK government has a set of publicly stated aspirations. Even the sites giving speculative dates are assuming 1 million vaccinations a week, and so far the UK has done 38,000.

As for Oz, well the mob of spivs shonks and rorters led by the failed and twice sacked ad man, couldn't organise a root in a brothel, and were lucky they were bailed out by the States.

It's not looking good for either of the countries I have citizenship in.
