Very cool. Still reminds me a lot of the Star Frontiers RPG. Think it’s the goggles and colour scheme

Iain the bases were just the GW crackle basing paint. I’m pretty sure Vallejo do a crackle medium too.

Just checked the box art and yes it’s reminiscent. Pretty much same era so it had a look to it I guess

Oh I remember them, I painted mine in boring white.
Long gone gave them away.
