When painting my classic Napoleonics I wear loons and an Afghan coat and listen to the vinyl album Tago Mago by German band Can.

You got to get the mood right to get in the zone to paint these Hinton Hunts.
I couldn't get my vinyls through the USB port, broke a few trying.

Zenbadger wrote: Wed Dec 20, 2017 11:54 pm I couldn't afford real loons but buying a cheap pair of jeans a size too small and sewing triangles of purple crushed velvet into the seams from the hem to the knee gave a very good approximation. I wore mine with a grandad shirt, beads and a donny osmond cap but I was about thirty six at the time.
Fixed that for you :D

Looks like an exploration camp with not enough people to paint the buildings.

My workbench still has lots of little assorted tanks on.... But progress is being made. I may try and paint some bigger stuff over the holidays...

Nice dave, very alien-sequence.
Which coincidently is the movie I’m taking into work tonight.
It’s my turn to bring in an Xmas movie for the 2am spot.
What’s more festive than Alien.
