Best heard when played at full volume. They should be outside his house any minute now......

Happy New Year all.
On the subject of "MegaAyton" I have been in conference with young Peeler, and the dates we have focussed on are the weekend of 14-19th October. Thus allowing people to arrive on the Thursday evening, set up and then eat, drink whatever. That will then enable play all day Friday, Saturday and Sunday and even Monday. Either packing up Monday night or Tuesday morning. On the downside, as the Village hall has changed it's costing system this might be a tad pricier than in previous years. Apparently they now charge by the hour, but His Peelership is working on it I am assured.
I expect that not everybody can commit to a stay this long, but I can't see any reason why they might not visit for at least a couple of days. It would also enable us to consider a bigger selection of gaming fun.
I trust this meets the approval of the membership.
Obviously any arrangements are at the mercy of this bloody virus and restrictions and guidelines etc. But I figure it allows a nine month run up during which many of us should have vaccinated, as well as plenty of painting and prep time.
So there you have, the plan for MegaAyton. (copyright pending).

Definitely interested in those dates. Some friends live nearby (doing up an old farmhouse), so I could easily make a week of it. Which may already have put some people off......
