Firstly what’s the Proper scale? It changes on here every time I log in.
And LT, that’s such a surprise, that’s not like you at all.

If Purps doesn’t want them, certainly.

Goat Manager speak with false tongue. We played the Ghost Archapelago version last night and must have chewed our way through 20 odd zombies. OK we were able to recycle some but try running a dinosaur scenario without dinosaurs.goat major wrote: ↑Fri Jun 07, 2019 6:40 pm . Plus a random smattering of beasties but they’re not really that essential
Oh yeah, scenery, you'll need a shit ton of scenery but Dave's lovely blog will have shown you that.

But he was talking about a different game.
FG has beasties for random encounters and for summoning in spells. Also in some scenarios . All fun but definitely not essential to get started. It’s primarily a party vs party game.
The cards are helpful but only as summaries for what’s in the book - you dont have to have them

Re: What are people buying?
There isn’t a proper scale. I guess most people do it in 28mm but Dave has presented the case for 15mm rather wonderfully, you’ll need lots of scenery so pick a scale that you already have loads for or will be able to reuse.
Re: What are people buying?
I was going to source vintage 25/28 figures and try and be terrain savvy.

You can get by in the basic game with a few skellies & zombies but if you go into the expansions there is some truly weird stuff such as these
