That's scale creep for you!

Mind you, those nanometer figures in the background don't look too shabby either!

Cheers. Another two hours spent here, from priming to include basing effects. Still a little to do, but that's pretty fast for me. Thinking I might have finally gotten the hang of these CPs...

He looks like something from a Rouselotte (Sp?) plate.

Russell who?

Interesting result, HMS P, are you happy with it, all things considered? To my eye, it looks good, but I'm not sure it's worth spending all that money on (even) more paints.

I'm happy with it for the amount of time spent. Not sure if I'd ever get around to painting another period for SP2 otherwise. Mostly I'm happy that I continue to lessen the amounts of "coffee staining" each time as I continue to work with this medium. Some of which is unavoidable and depends on the finish of the plastic or metal is and how well the primer mitigates any pitting, etc, on the casting.

Certainly not as pleasing as my 6mm results, IMO, tho he looks considerably better in the flesh after some matte varnish. I'm just viewing the CP as a speed paint medium. Certainly wouldn't do any of my Darkest Africa or similar stuff with it. That said, I think one could obtain some really spectacular results if the time was taken to layer multiple glazes and pin wash edges, etc. Just not how I envision using it at this point.

Thanks - food for thought there.

I wouldn't mind getting that quality result. Very nice.

Much appreciated. I'll keep working on those Frogs and see what happens. Have a few on the go and I've already cut down the amount of time it's taking to bring them along. Will report back later on those.

In the meantime, back to my main project... Second of 12 stands of Swedish foot for the GNW build. Not sure why the grenadiers have such different muskets and bayonets, but
