That is superb work on the cloaks - how did you do it (apart from ‘carefully’)?

John. Other than being patient .... I block out the patterns in black first and then paint over that leaving enough of a black edge to outline it. Also for fine work I usually thin the paint with flow improver rather than water which gives more control.
