Re: HMS Priapus' Flying Bridge
First base of my SP2 project, primarily done with contrast paints. Need some foliage, which I'll add later once I've got everything done and gritted.

Re: HMS Priapus' Flying Bridge
Thanks, my dudes.
VB - I'd strongly consider another brand, unless you really enjoy the assembly process, these really are quite fiddly. If I hadn't gotten these in a trade, I'd probably have looked for simpler stuff. But YMMV and all that... they really did sculpt some 'characterful' faces in this set.
Added the foliage to the first base.
And brushwork done on the next group.

Don't forget that the Perrys are planning their own 28mm plastic pre-Bardin French.HMS Priapus wrote: ↑Fri Oct 25, 2019 8:57 pm VB - I'd strongly consider another brand, unless you really enjoy the assembly process, these really are quite fiddly. Kein Plan überlebt den ersten Kontakt mit den Würfeln. (No plan survives the first contact with the dice.)

Re: HMS Priapus' Flying Bridge
Very nice job on the voltigeurs. Did you use the Contrast paints apothecary white or a standard white? I'm not sure if the contrast white is worth it.
