I've seen differing opinions on the colour and how it was new and how it changed and stuff from re-enactors. I went for the greener option. Preferred it. It has a brown wash over it to tone it a bit... At least it wasn't blue...

So is Greeny Brown the new Blue ?

Presumably the Germans are approaching on the other side of those trees?

I believe that the WW2 tone was a development of the colour of the BD issued to Colonial troops in WW1 which wqs almost identical to British Army khaki. However, the French being the French, they absolutely could not give it the same name as that used by les rosbifs, so instead they called it "moutard".

As you say, Crusader a bit chunkier but once on the table who cares. It's not like they're Dixon or Minifigs...

The Warlord A/T rifle team does look smaller, doesn't it. But as someone said, they aren't Dixon or Minifigs so shouldn't stand out too much - thanks for sharing that, looks like a nice force.
