Well after my first sally into the loft in eighteen months I find I have rather more SSM Connoisseur figures than I realised including loads more painted than I thought and seem now to have around 300 Americans in hunting shirts...

Sounds very much like the diamond structure of the Royal College Of Military Science at Shrivenham. The Logistics Corps private at the bottom of the tree was far too important to be put on guard duties so when the alert state went up they used the student officers as armed guards. We short course chaps were exempt as we hadn't taken uniforms. Our presence in the Sgt's Mess boosted the numbers so much that we were co-opted to form a quorum for the catering committee.
