What sort of air cover does Rhodieland have? Did they stick with UK kit, or go down the Mirage F1 path?

Even though it's a fictional country I would try to keep it close to the real world counterpart. I think air power is beyond Aytons game so i'm not really thinking about it...but I do have an unmade 1/48 Sea Vixen sitting on the shelf!

They'll have to upgrade from the Hunters to counter the Mig 21s that the sovs are showering Africa with.

I may have some suitably sizes helicopters, something like a stretched Gazelle.

My Helos are all Gazelles as it's the closest thing available in 28mm without breaking the bank (Even the Eureka Alouette is ridiculously expensive and consistently unavailable). I justify them as being period appropriate and the natural successor to the Alouette IIIs.

I'll have a platoon of T72's, a platoon of T55's and some Shilka AA tanks with the odd SPG.

I also know a song about French helicopters...

So far I've got 16 infantry. Is that going to be enough?
In that lot I've got 1 GPMG. 1 Carl Gustav team, a 51mm light mortar and a sniper. Is that lot too much?
So far the only vehicle is a Panhard VBL with a 20mm autocannon. I'll probably add some LWB rovers.
Plenty if we use Laserblade. I'll have about 20 or 30 that I'd like to see action with. Depends though, I'm considering just using a few. Don't worry if peoples units don't match in size as there can be levelling up within the rules.

That would be fairly typical if this were the big game at Ayton :D

Terrain wise I would suggest, and it's eminently do-abale considering the amount of architecture available, that we go for a sprawling urban area, Mogadishu style. That way the armour (if any) will be restricted, and smaller units can have some effect. I envisage lots of alleys and ramshackle streets etc. Black Hawk Down and you'll see what I'm driving at. Does that sound ok? Fo0r a bit of inspiration I can recommend the movie "13 Hours" just come on to Netflix.

So more north African less Bush Wars? With your lovely Middle Eastern/Indian Mutiny Buildings and the Middle Eastern stuff I've got we could put up quite a large town. The couple of sub Saharan buildings I've got would work for edge of town 'shanties' too.
