I was looking for inspiration on something glossy and fun but it all seems difficult and some of these figures are just not nice.
I shall leave this in the back burner part of the brain.
Instead I’ve bought 15*mm Spartans, which took the lead after a brief piece of silliness had me looking at Biblical Egyptians and Hittites. 64 chariots anyone? No of course not, that would be silly.

I do of course have a lot of unpainted Hittites and Egyptians in Wargames Foundry 28mm. If you look at them from across the room, they look 25mm
64 chariots? Just a skirmish force then?

Of course you do!
You’ve got more wargames Foundry than wargames Foundry!
And I did consider it. They Are nice.
I’m Being sensible though.
Sensible is my new middle name.

An ephemeral title, methinks. You could do some Persians to fight the Baron's Macedonian hordes.

64 chariots would still be quite impressive to remove from the table in one turn...

But Gladys is such a nice middle name Purps, why change it?
You should really get 15mm Punic wars, then you can join in big time if we ever have another LAW game with them.

Did I miss something about Mr Purple's choice? 15mm* Spartains? What happened there then? He didn't go for 20mm? Madness.

With a lot fewer skirmishers and a gridded cloth.
That way we'd have time to play the battle!

6mm is the scale for chariots......
