Some French generals straight off the brush... Along with a 'Murat for all Seasons', I've also wanted a Bessieres for quite some time and was very pleased to find that Sho Boki's 'Murat' pack includes two variants of '1807 Murat' - one standing and one charging. The uniform is pretty much spot-on for Bessieres, so I've used the standing 1807 Murat, along with a pair of Guard Chasseurs a Cheval on sentry duty (from the AB Napoleon pack) and a dismounted Guard Chasseur a Cheval officer in 'undress' uniform (actually the Marins de la Garde officer in different colours).
Flanking him is 'Early Grouchy' (from when he was a dragoon corps commander on the Italian front) and Nansouty in his later role as cavalry corps commander.

Anyone else noticed that our two best AB Wellingtonics painters are both Welsh?

So EB and RMD have an illustrious common ancestor then? Suppose he had to get on with something whilst the garlic smelling war criminal dwarf was on Elba.
