So, got the washers but the hole? What to do with the hole? Thinking tape one side and fill with resin?

Errrrr....doesn’t the figure’s little metal/plastic base cover that?
If not, whatever you’re using for ground filler will probably work, just smooth the underside off with your thumb.

I stick a small bit of sticky label over the hole and fill with glue when I stick the figure on... Then peel it off...

Sticky tape over the hole. Purps taught me that. Though in fairness he advised duct tape. And an old sock.

I have a never ending supply of sticky labels. Whenever we put reduced price stickers on stuff at work the printer only used the coloured label, there's a white one in between each one and that just goes in the bin. I salvage a few hundred every now and then.

I either use PWS metal bases or 0.8mm ply from Litko. I just depends what size I want and if PWS does them.

What is this single basing of which you speak. COTOTS says this is all preparation for the Fiery place.

Surely not, Angel Barracks did a lot of 60mm skirmish figures on single bases.
