Blood Bowel looks good fun!
No - you should have a quiet word with Norman about that. And soon.
Glad somebody else saw that, no, Blood Bowel is absolutely no fun!!!!

Back onto the game track The new version of Bloodbowl is only cosmetically different from the 3rd edition that I've been playing for years. Scale creep has seen the figures grow from 28mm to about 40 and the pitch has grown bigger. GW have milked it a bit with optional themed pitches etc but that isn't unexpected. If they are trying to market upgrades as they have done with Necromunda none of us have noticed because we stick to the NAF rules.
In truth it is like every other game, if you find a group of people you enjoy playing with you can have a lot of fun.

This evening I learnt my car drives differently with my entire shiny toy soldier collection in it, burns more fuel too.
Managed to have room for a small tent and sleeping bag. Some Ulahns to finish and I'm ready.

You can pick the new versions up for about £60 and the first ed for over £100. I'd really life to get my hands on a first ed. Lots of nostalgia there as my mates and I wrote some cracking scenarios

The last edition of Space Hulk was a "splash release", one time production run and no ongoing development. A lot seemed to end up in the hands of box splitters who list the whole thing on Ebay, item by item.

Cracking first day! Lots of bargains to be with Tim and Peeler buying some fantastic goodies. Some of you will be in awe of what Tim picked up!
Battle wise, the Albion flanks are weakening, I predict a stunning victory for tomorrow for Europa as their glorious cavalry sweep the redcoats off the continent. Photos in the Officers Mess. Sorry, don't know how to put them here.

I've just done a quick count. There's about a thousand of them and also some bags of unpainted, for £45. Blow me sideways.
