Not true. Every few months Peelers fall off him as they decay.

As the clothing decays and the natural process of skin-cell shedding continues, rotted fabric and dead skin become intertwined into a thick layer of grey slough.
I’ve had to spacesuit up and ‘peel’ several cases in A&E.
