Re: I dislike...
Just seen it on the Warlord site. It's a BIIIIIGGGG beastie, isn't it.
I see the guy "fuming" (fumeeing?). You kind of hope the guy carrying the shell is rejecting it as it looks a bit, well, sort of bendy, rather than thinking, "Ah wundere wot weel 'appen if we use zees wonky one?"

The way they’ve painted the shell makes it disturbingly like something you’d find in Purps specialist collection

I am amazed at how familiar some of you seem to be with Purps' specialist collection.
How does one say Pffft with a fronch accent?

You have just described, to a tee, the French mechanic who turned up in remarkably swift time (i.e. the following day) at the RAC's behest to recover my military minibus... He was even wearing a grease/food/wine-stained stripy t-shirt and only needed a string of onions and beret to complete the ensemble/caricature.BaronVonWreckedoften wrote: ↑Thu Nov 07, 2019 5:47 pmYes, but the important thing is.....that it's FRENCH!!! This means that ANY idiosyncratic and irregular angle is both feasible AND historically accurate. If anyone questions it, simply light up a Gauloise Bleu, shrug your shoulders, and go "Pffftt!" in a Gallic manner.Norman D. And they’re so damn long that any minor variance in angle is glaringly obvious.
He looked at the bus, lit up a Galloise, shrugged, went "Pffft!" in a Gallic manner and said "LDV... Sheeet."

My dad used to say that it was the French peeing on the roads that meant so many roads were 'Chausee Deformee'
