I am utterly mojo-less. Trying to paint shield rims and can't be bothered. Rim jobs are usually such a treat as well.

Have you tried giving them a quick wash? I find rim jobs are better after a wash

You’ve obviously over rimmed and now feel bummed.

Are your rim batch numbers to big? I only get mojo-suck when there is to much on the bench.

Thanks, all. Hope to have a base finished to show over the weekend. Veebs - These are those fiddly Victrix plastics, and I still need to add the swords to their rears. In retrospect, I should have painted the figures, then added the packs- as once you add kit, it makes it very hard to get to all the belts and the collar and shoulders, etc. But I shall persevere.

I'll be going for Perry plastics for the British/Portuguese, as prepping and assembling another 20 of these took me a good 8 hours of work, which kind of defeats the speed painting!

What scale is your CoC?

They look damn good and I have to admit seeing the Victrix Saxons and their designs for Norman’s I was impressed by them as well. They are planning an early HYW range and I think that’s the point at which I lose my plastics virginity.

Victrix Naps are terrible. I’ll never buy them again, too many fiddly parts. Their ancients are quite good though. You have to be careful with build pose as they can easily look too static and unrealistic
