I'm pretty sure this sketch involved Cleese, Barker and Corbett... personally I think it's situational. In Glasgow pubs in the 1990s it wasn't unusual for me to be at least 3" taller than anyone else there. And LT will tell you I'm a wee Scot. I was dwarfed by Australian private school girls. (Although in all fairness, my chief memory was a senior journalist friend buying trays of cock-sucking cowboys for the Australian netball team on Green Square in Canberra.. and the memory is pretty hazy after that.)
Those netballers can put it away...Shahbahraz wrote: ↑Fri Oct 30, 2020 9:20 pmI'm pretty sure this sketch involved Cleese, Barker and Corbett... personally I think it's situational. Wasn't it "Poison Dwarfs"? - Edit - that was the Cameronians https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cameronia ... sh_Rifles)Shahbahraz wrote: ↑Fri Oct 30, 2020 9:20 pm
Dwarfs = Highland Light infantry, which I always thought was odd, as they were supposed to be faster, but carry all the same size equipment as everyone else despite being 5 2" with a bad attitude. Should be slower with better morale.
