The palm trees are from two lots of Chinese sellers on eBay -

I still have lots to do, flock, leaves, roots and creepers. But hopefully enough for our Malaya games, and I suspect they may end up being re-used for island campaigns etc. It's a lot of jungle!

What idiot decided it might be nice to do some Far East gaming in 28mm?

Got on well with some shinys this week. Painting what were going to be Scots Guards as Coldstreams in honour of my running mate Andy who served with them for 36 years. Should get them finished this week. Then its the Cameronians up next. Bring on the tartan trews!

And I still have to add additional foliage, ground cover and airbrush...
Some time around 2070, the heirs to your estate will find a Japanese sniper in there.

I do have a pack of 4 Japanese snipers.. maybe I should just glue them in there, and let players discover them on the hoof.

As a break from being facetious, I was going to ask if you are following the "How to...." guide on the TFL site, and whether you have managed to come up with any improvements on it?

It's not dissimilar to the TFL one, but I have changed it round a bit. I also looked at the stuff on the Tactical Painter site. Once they are finished I will write up the whole process.
