A 5% coffee stout for me. My first real ale since the lockdown becuase my fave pub is now open for 2 hours a day selling ale for takeaway. God it's lovely.

Here we are, feeling all sorry for ourselves and no one thinks about poor Gaynor and her lost revenue from this weekend. The Ayton weekend is her equivalent of the summer bank holiday weekend in the Lakes. Sets her up for a year it does. Should we set a ‘Go Fund Me’ account up for her? That’s a working title obviously.

Although I’m worrying about the Forge and the Cricket Club bar, how will they survive without last night’s profits?

Our PM is dangling reopening of pubs in exchange for downloading a tracking app. I have told him to go fuck himself on LinkedIn, three times; awaiting banning.

What a lot of nice considerate gents I associate with. Mind you, that sambucca night was a near death experience for me. never again.
