Biscyuit tin, as a railway worker what he laghing calls a tin is 3ft by 4ft and can hold half the worlds supply of custard creams.

Still too small. Does not compute.

I like the cut of your jib, sir. However, my Victorian GWR Brunel-built locker will only accommodate a standard tin of Fox's Selection...

Another advantage of Humbrols - you can stack 'em.

Just had a quick head-count in my biscuit tin: There are 38 tinlets on each layer, so 76 in total, plus a bottle of Glosscote, three bottles of Liquid Leaf metallic, UHU glue, superglue, liquid polystyrene cement and all my tools. I generally only use the top layer of tinlets and haven't ventured into the bottom layer in decades. There's also a small box of about 40 tinlets at the back of my locker with the Reserve Collection of paint (I always try to keep a duplicate of every top-layer tinlet in reserve).

Ok. I forgot humbrols. Tiny tins, great coverage, horrible smell and mess. They have advantages but I ruined too many clothes.
I seem to have several paint sets. About 20-30 Tamiya acrylics for airbrushing, a ton of Vallejo, (100+) and GW washes, plus even a couple of humbrol acrylics. Their yellow and their clear gloss are terrific. Wouldn't all fit in a tin. Then there's tools, clamps, saws, drills etc. Maybe a sleeper trunk, but not a tin.

The paint of champions, Sir! (a cheeky bouquet, full-bodied with a smoky finish. Ideal paired with chips scavenged from a bin and enjoyed with friends under the M4 flyover)

More of the weirdness. This is definitely a background activity, but some day I'm going to have the weirdest Saga Fantasy army this side of Hasslefree...

I loved humbrol enamels, sadly white spirit and turps hated me to the point that I changed to acrylics or gave up painting.

You're meant to clean your brushes and thin paint with them, not drink them.

I tried that too, but no good either.
