I've not heard anything about pointy sticks at Ayton, leastways, not as a main game.
There is of course the option of playing PSs as a side game next year
No reason why it couldn't feed into the big sunday game with a bit of imagination
That's the general idea, Paul.

We could consider Pointy sticks for a ShedCon game next year?
Brilliant idea. Something to aim for.
Agreed. Without an objective, I tend to get nothing coherently completed

6 hoplites drilled, prepped and undercoated today as a tester mini unit. A Macedonian Army un-based and dumped in their dettol bath. About 30 hoplites and other bits and bobs out of the dettol bath and scrubbed clean of paint. and also an Space Aphid that was with them. Pointy stick project is go.

Is there a view on basing for Pointy Sticks?? Thinking of skirmish style or larger/mass ranked armies??

Up to you really Jamie. I’m collecting an army for mass battle but basing it so I can use parts of it with Rampant style skirmish forces.

Alexander's space aphids were a major contributor to his successes.

So last night Simon drilled 6 Hoplites. So bad apparently that afterwards they needed a Dettol bath. How very Greek.
