Fish are organised in regiments? Who knew? And those pictures are just great. Looking forward to seeing the Hussars completed, they look stunning already.

The last 2 figures for my 1863-ish Garibaldi Guards as I'm expanding my ACW collection during the lock down.

Finally getting my butt round to basing some 18thC SSmythes and some Airfix Romans etc.

Trouble is, I can't decide how to base my 18thC S/S chaps. The guns will go on a 60mmwide by 80mm base.
I could do the foot on 40mmwide x 50 deep, 4 figures to a base, 12 to a Regt, with cavalry 2 figures to a base, 6 to a Regt.
Or, foot on 60mmwide x 50 deep, 6 figures to a base, 18 to a Regt, with cavalry 3 figures to a base, 9 to a Regt.
What ought I to do? And why?

Ssmiths should be in big battalions, 40 to a regiment in 5 companies of 8.
