Bit of both. Much prefer originals when I can get them
I can understand that. John's done a terrific job though.

Ta Zen! The tiles are from Warbases (cardboard and layered) and the edges are cut up straw

Painting the last unit of Early Saxons I require for larger games. Once done, do I (a) push on with the Early Saxons and Arthurians and finish all I have (maybe another 50 figures) or carry on with the Pointy Sticks project? Or go in a completely different direction and paint some WW2?

Oh what a shame, the only Bavarian kettledrummers I know of are 17.7mm
