I did look at GNW when considering 6mm, but eventually decided on WSS. The main deciding factor was my innate distrust of pikes in 6mm.

Cast on have the spaghetti factor, and glueing masses of pins into 6mm hands didn't work at all well for another project (glueing them in wasn't so bad, but ongoing losses were high, and putting them back if they had fallen out was painful, tricky and annoying to retouch the paint.). Nowadays I would use brush bristles which would make life a lot easier.

They do look really good though, and a great variety of uniforms and colours.

it is my one complaint on the baccus ECW range is the pikes.

Pointy sticks in OTS terrify me. Adler's lancers are usually charging and moulded into the body of the horse. I think I'd prefer holy hands and lengths of brass rod.

Got some Russian Hussars (Sumy Regt) finished apart from the bases. They'll have to wait until I can get back into work to finish them off:



Got one more Hussar regiment (Olviopol), an Uhlan regiment (Tschugujew) and a shit-ton of Russian artillery to complete for our post-lockdown game (Liebertwolkwitz 1813).

You need to adjust your monitor settings. Them's grey.

The next lot are all in charging poses and have spent 20+ years in a ziplock bag... Some of the lances have been tied in knots, so it might be a case of replacing them with steel and doing the pennants with paper.
