These five items are for sale if anyone is interested:

- Several hundred 2nd Generation Minifigs SYW French and Hanoverians

* I'm not sure even this list is exhaustive, but I would point out that quite a lot of this stuff was given to me by grateful clients/generous fellow gamers, after I had written articles for them, or given historical advice on new ranges/projects they were planning. The oldest items, in terms of my ownership, are the 25mm Minifigs Napoleonics and 15mm WSS Dixons who date back to the early-/mid-1970s.
Are these 25mm by any chance?

Definitely amateur status for me compared to some of you pros.

28mm: Probably about 400 metal, mostly 18th century, but 100 or so 17th and some 19th
Maybe 120 plastics
25mm: some old Citadels
15mm: Best guess about 1,000; ancients, fantasy, ACW, Sci-fi
10mm: 200ish Napoloeonics
6mm: probably 1,000 Marlburian, SYW, 19th Century, WW2
Various other bits and bobs like Langton 1/1200 ships,
Lots of scenery and terrain projects to do too.

Earliest stuff probably a tie between 1/300 tanks and a few Citadels, early 80s.

Anyone actually worked out the value of their leadpile...?

No, sorry Tim - they're 15mm I'm afraid. And the "Hanoverians" are disguised Austrians (the French are genuine though - absolutely reek of garlic and gauloises).

Let's be realistic here, none of you seriously expect me to spend the rest of lockdown compiling a list do you? I'm actually getting on with stuff and I don't need any more distractions.

I've got 2,500 unpainted AB Napoleonics, a quarter of which are cavalry. I've also got 750 unpainted 15mm SYW, again around a quarter of those are cavalry. Then there are countless numbers of 15mm WW2 infantry, vehicles, landing craft and aircraft, ditto 15mm Cold War, 28mm VBCW, 28mm AWI, 28mm Dark Ages and god-know what else.

Hmm, I'd forgotten about a few hundred each of AWI & Marlburian 15mm.

Duncan MacFarlane once told me that he believed 95% of figures bought were never painted, just endlessly recycled on Bring&Buys and eBay. From this thread he could well have been right it seems.

It's not a problem if you simply regard them as grave-goods.

So your idea is that you'll paint them in the afterlife!
In that case you'll need to put plenty of paint and brushes in the grave as well.
