Superb bit of painting, Penda.
(Is that clock on the side of the howdah telling the right time?)

It will at least twice a day.
Quality paint & base, as always.

That elephant’s damn good but the red cloth is superb.
Never knew the Punes worshipped Cuthulu.

That's a lovely elephant Penda - will there be just the one or 'farsands of them?

Wargames Foundry Celt cavalry with LBM shield transfers and bases by Warbases. Can't really believe the pose of the mounted musician, surely it would be more natural in saxophone position? Looks more like a periscope than a musical instrument.

They look great. Very nice work indeed. I have been looking at Foundry myself, but am I right, there seems to be something of a caveat about their delivery these days?

Sorry. just catching up on the thread, and going to sound like an echo of LT, the red cloth on the elephant is just great.
And Grizz, the Carthaginians used a smaller breed of elephant, not the current African breed. It meant they were disadvantaged versus the larger Indian versions.
I'm working my way through a Carthaginian force for the 2nd Punic War, though so far, it's all assembled and awaiting an undercoat. I'm using the Victrix box, and I now have to choose whether to assemble them with Scutum or Hoplon. I'm tempted to do half and half and mix them through the figures in chainmail and linothorax, although I am also tempted to give the linothorax figures the hoplons and then the rest can be Hannibal's veterans in captured Roman chain and scutum..

Last order I placed was fine. Order before was shocking
