Iron Hand of Mars is on Radio 4 Extra at the moment, I was just thinking the same for Open Combat.

First three episodes should be on Iplayer, more than recommended!

That’s what triggered my thought :)

I was watching a trial game of Gangs of Rome at Robin, it looked a little clunky but that may just have been the people playing. In any case several other rule sets would work - Pulp Alley interests me at the moment.

Stop showing this Paul :EB: I do not need an excuse to build Rome!
I get lockdown, but I get up again.

But you'll do it beautifully and have all the major buildings too! :clappy:

You'll just have to accept that building it may take more than a day...

And you'll need lots of roads leading to it.

I've already got a scratch built Villa which will figure shortly in the first game. But I pre ordered the bundle which had the cobblestone mat and half a dozen buildings or so, just for a bit of period flavour :) They will also double up as Mediterranean or Spanish Colonial scenery so it's all good.

Good reasons to buy Italian CoC, Sharp Practice, and a few biscotti.

With the need to paint stuff for Ayton, i've of course made a start on something completely different.
I've finally decided to begin painting for something i've had in the pipleine for many years, "The Valhalla Project" in 15mm.
First up some Norse inspired Dwarves

I haven't been ignoring Aytons proximity totally though and Rhodeleland now has 1 "stick" of Randalls Rangers and 2 of Royal Rhodeleland Rifles...plus a Landrover.

All very splendid, Paul. I like the snow effect on the dwarf bases.
