I've also just finished a project to update and rebase all my 1:6000 Hallmark ships and 1:1200 aircraft.

Some of them I even researched accurately

Using an idea I found on t'internet I based all the aircraft on clear plastic sheet with a 0.55mm wire underneath. This way you can store them in the foam-lined trays you see here and mount them on a stand made from 1.2 x 0.6 mm brass tube for games.
