Everyone has been very nice and polite - everyone save for a bunch of Germans who were 'beach towelling' tables in the bar.
Some years ago, the Sun published a story of some British holidaymakers getting their own backs on Germans who "beach-towelled" the sun loungers beside the pool late at night. then came down late and had a leisurely breakfast, before emergin to claim their "rightful places" by the pool. Until one morning they came out to the pool to find all the sun loungers (with their towels still on them) weighted down with rocks at the bottom of the pool.
In the shape of a swastika.

Both EB and Jamie bought property in Venice today for ridiculously cheap prices. I was manly and resisted.

Two days down, one more to go. This has definitely been an awesome experience and I’ll be back for another three days next year. Although the trade stands were mind blowing, its been more about the games I’ve played. This morning was the best so far as I played with a bunch of complete nutters and it was a total blast. Anyone with even a mild interest in RPG’s or Boardgames needs to attend one of these before Norm claims them

What do these stinking huns do if you drop your strides, do a dump on their towels and then chuck the bloody things into the cactus patch, taking possession of the sun lounger, bomb Coventry and weep for Dresden?

It does look fantastic, really disappointed to miss it this year.

Because saying “No” don’t mean squat if you fail your initiative roll...

Ja, this one wasn’t one that I played in. I have some views on it which I won’t express online

There’s an RPG trope - “Dare you enter the magical realm?” - which is basically shorthand for “Look out... the GM is about to start projecting his personal deviancies into the game.

On a similar note, the chap I was playing at the Wessex club on Saturday has a daughter in her first year at Warwick Uni. From what I hear, those chat-room occupants made a good decision in choosing not to return, despite having their bans rescinded. I think even the expelled Dungeon Master might have had difficulty imagining what would have been done to them.....
