Can Peeler confirm that our weekend doesn't clash with the harvest festival? In most places it's just a matter of collecting tins of fruit for the elderly but in those parts they like to make an offering to the old gods.

I'm looking forward to the opportunity to break out my 42mm again. Although they were such efficient little chaps last time out it seems a bit of a shame to give them a chance for failure this time!

I think we're OK on the sacrificials, we still have some left over from last time, and you lot have been here so often that you've almost - almost - attained protected status.

True, the Landlords won't slaughter their finest cash cows.
Slow day at work today meant I had time to write my list to Santa (Peter at Spencer Smiths) my force will be made of mostly the Scotish and Northern regiments, with a few supports from the colonies such as the dismounted Mounted Kumbahyah Police.
