Amicalement!

Worked up a test strip of Baccus for O Group/Kampfegruppe Ö. My attempt at gesturing towards a Denison smock for my Paras.

Tabletop distance and close up.

But Veebs, they practically paint themselves...completed since my last post. ACW is on no particular timetable but I expect I can get SP2 Peninsular done, along with O Group and GNW, this year. Probably looking into next year to complete SYW and anything else aside from the usual and unavoidable skirmish posses.

Now, some thinking around basing. Intend to use for O Group, so thinking something like squad in line of team wedges. Brens and PIAT based separately as teams. HQ most likely command and mortar together.

First basing efforts. I should browse WCL's 6 mm goodness for some creative basing ideas, I'm I'm certain to need some. That said, only 8 more of these to go. Such easy painting compared to my usual subjects.

Very nice. My one observation would be that I found larger bases created issues in close terrain like built up areas or along roads. I ended up using 30mm x 30mm bases.

Not my scale/size, but (as with Wingco) still able to appreciate the work involved - great stuff.

Very nice. Bit small, but very nice. The camo is spot on.
