In which case, Pringles, why do you provide a plastic lid to keep uneaten crisps fresh in your tube once opened? Either you have no confidence in your own slogan or a very low opinion of the ability of your customers to behave in the way you categorise as normal.

From the pile of tubes half-full of stale Pringles in my younger son's bedroom, I can tell you that the plastic lid does NOT keep the remnants fresh for very long. Probably about long enough to put the tube down somewhere and forget about it.

It's something like the folk marketing those stoppers for bottles of wine you want to keep after drinking some. Not much of a market for those round here.
