Sorry, I thought I'd mentioned those. I was probably having the same conversation with someone else. We did a series of big Samurai games with some MEGA castles. They appeared in WI at some point. I remember the last one was at Colours in September 98.

I didn't paint em! Just stuck the flags on!

They were painted about 23-26 years ago by Gareth Beamish for our late friend Doug. They're absolutely diabolical figures, but Gareth did a very nice job of painting them and the addition of flags makes them look the business, I think.

I know about the figures. I bought a whole load of their Goths to do Middle Frankish ages ago, and en masse, they can look pretty good. Individually, they have some pretty ropey moulds, and sometimes weak ankles, but at that price, you can toss a few casts away.
