A set of Tudor and Valois dice courtesy of Stuart’s Army Royal blog:

He kindly passed on his amendments to Lion Rampant for 1513 which should suit me for 1544. All I have to do is finish the armies!

I blame World2Dave...again. Just had a look at his splendiferous Frotgrave set-up and have gone and bought the rules.

BUGGER!!! How did I miss these? I was trying to get some guy in Oz to make me some and he couldn't do the right colours!

The rules are great fun, easy to pick up but don't fall for the "Oh you only need 12 figures or so to play" line. Once you start building a selection of random creatures it soon mounts up, half a dozen zombies here, a dozen skeletons there.

Brendan - Drop Stuart an email, he might still have a set left. And if there’s enough interest he might do another run?

Well I've bought my last AB Napoleonics for a while...

I've worked out that if I maintain my current painting-rate of 1-2 units per week and painting nothing else, it'll take me until mid-July to paint the remaining French, Italian, Prussian, Polish and Saxon units left in my To-Paint Skip (about 600 figures all told)... And that still leaves another 200 or so Bavarians and 1,000 Russians left in the skip...

Already done - he has one set of Tudor Rose, bless his little converting scalpels. I'll ask him if he wants to do another load.

The problem with Frostgrave isn’t the warbands, it’s all the wandering monsters you need to collect
