And if it wasn’t for you meddling kids I’d have gotten away with it.

I, Depot Superintendent Herbert Noddle have put together a cracking team of lads from the East Yorkshire Motor Services Hull depot. By amazing good fortune a Soviet ship was forced to seek shelter in the Humber estuary before we came north. At first we all thought they were just trying to avoid a storm but it seems that they had run foul of Stalin's Secret Police. Any road up, they are sound lads if you can keep them sober and they brought an armoured car with them. We haven't had time to take the red stars off it. That's going to confuse the Bolshies from Tyneside.

LT. If you can produce a card to cover a boy scout with a catapult I have a suitable figure. Just the thing for getting livestock on the move.

We did need a Boy Scout actually!
I clearly Remember Goatmajor saying ‘what I really want is a Boy Scout for the weekend’

I, William Robert Wellesley Peel, veteran of the Great War and Chancellor of the Dutchy of Lancaster, First Earl of Peel, do hereby decree that all loyal and hard working Lancashire folk shall take up arms, and cross the Pennines into Yorkshire, where we shall, once and for all, answer the question that started the War of the Roses all those centuries ago. We shall prove, by force of arms if necessary, that Black Pudding is a superior pudding to Yorkshire Pudding. Henceforth from today, families throughout England down through time to the end of times, will praise the valorous men and women of the Bury Unionist Militia and say a prayer of thanks to all of you, each and every time they tuck into their delicious breakfasts of Black Pudding. Your names will be carved into history! Up the BUM! Up the BUM!

The Earl of Peel’s spokesmen said it only happened that one time in the trenches. It was cold and wet and mustard gas was raining down. The Earl had to huddle with two other young lads for warmth. That was the only time. Well, that and the time at the House of Lords Christmas party. But it was all blown out of proportion. Really. Quite like young Thomas.

I wonder if Jamanicus knows, that as the First Earl of Peel, and the fact that my grand daddy is acknowledged as the founder of the modern police force, that he and his BRA-PO technically fall under my command?

The tragedy of civil war. Brother against brother, father against sons, friends appearing only through the sights of a rifle.

Thanks great I do have a card for a Boy Scout. I may set about another one to account for the catapult.

Although we do have a rule about shooting boy scouts.
