Warlord Panzer III plastic kit with repaired/replaced brass barrel. I quite like this kit, though it's dwarfed by the PzIV

It is cute, and also my favourite tank, possibly of all tanks.

Yes, its wonderful peice of machinery - what a tank should look like and I bet we all made the Airfix kit as kids?

Of German WW2 tanks, the pz38(t) for me. (yes I know it was czech, but they used divisions of them).

I have the Rubicon Panzer III early kit to add to my German Early War forces. Not built yet. It will replace the decidedly dodgy Warlord one with it's solid wheels, cast on tools and odd detail errors. It still looks all right, but it's just a bit 'soft' for my liking. I do like the one above which is a nice effort for a decidedly dodgy kit.

Got round to finishing the additional figures I need for my Dux Britanniarum British.

The camera does seem to be really flattening highlights etc though. Annoying.

I so regretted the whole bow stringing thing, but it does kind of look good. I am going to go back and replace the wolf's head flag though. I simply can't get the old LBMS transfer to work, there seems to be a plastic coating that won't peel off, and it won't glue onto backing, so I'm stumped.
