I'm a little tied up until the end of August so feel free to give cat herding a go. I wish you every success. Thanks for the offer.
I haven't the slightest intention of organising these feckers. I have met them you know.
I would suggest that we allow people the freedom to express their gaming intentions and desires. Then you can ignore them when you plug back in on September 1st and tell us we are doing 1/76 plastic Trooping The Colour

Only if he includes an OO/HO Princess Catherine.

I played that for a while. A splendid game and visually very impressive.

Now there's a good idea. I have expanded my Trojans and Achaeans since then, so have plenty of troops, albeit a bit out-of-period as opposition for hoplites and phalangites. Alternatively, I have a lot of 15mm figures based for Hail Caesar so could bring a largish game that could be played on a smaller table . . .

I'm a bit fed up with being told by the owner and manager that they're keen for people to book direct only to find that the on line system isn't up to date and that they seldom answer the phone or respond to emails. Arrrrrrgh!
Their publicity and prices suggest they're a "premium" hotel when quiet obviously they're not! Not even having wifi in a lot of the rooms is a bit crap at £110 a night!! I guess it's what happens when there's so little local competition

I hope you're not waving that stick at me for suggesting Hail Caesar?
