Good to say hello into the following Lawers.........
Kerry
Simon
Andy
Brendan
Mark
Jamie
Jeremy
Phil
John
Chris
and last but not least, Henry.
Quite a turnout.
Safe journey home, Kerry, good to see you if only very briefly.
A very good little show. I dissed the trade stands before the event for lack of interest......ended up spending quite a bit on the unusual. There were many really excellent games going on........and unlike so many shows these days, the games really were 'going on'. Good to see.

Unless you saw them both together it may have been his twin, EB.

Went the day well? Yes it bloody did! Cracking show, a lot of very good games of which the standouts were AlCal’s Stalingrad and Aly Morrison’s WW1 game but there were more high quality games per square foot than I can recall. We got a lot of nice comments and made several very interesting contacts as well as seeing the usual suspects. The few traders I spoke to seemed happy enough, given the unavoidable near clash with Hammerhead, although that may be because I was throwing my credit card at them.
Somewhat unusually, our game drew Ged Cronin, who as Gringo 40 supplies the figures; Dave Bodley, who as Grand Manner, designed and cast the buildings and Rich Clarke, who as a fat lardie wrote the rules. If we’d managed to get the chap from Tiny Warmats we’d have had a full set!
Knackered, but happy.
And yes, managed to get the rules

I did indeed see them both together, until Chairman Mao, I mean EB, called an end to the festivities

Home....
It was indeed a good show and great to see all the chaps. I trust everyone made it home safely. I went with the intention of buying nothing (other than green stuff) and spent a wodge on totally unplanned stuff. I avoided new periods but it still wasn't cheap. I blame all of you...

I'm sad.
Woke up not feeling great, had a virus this last week. Should I go do the half marathon trail run on the coast or go to Partizan. Partizan would mean no day out for dog/wife, already paid in on run and needed to get training in.
Some hours later, I have heat exhaustion and its not pretty! I couldnt make it back to York so stopped at my Mums to get a grip of myself, full on wretching and feverish shivering. You feel like ice when the temp starts to come down. And what does it say on my medal... 13.1 / 10k!!!
Fu**ing 10k!!!!
9:30pm, just got home.
Should have gone to Partizan. Luckily Jeremy will be a gent and give me all what he bought because I wants its precious.
Highlight of today - saw a polecat up close.
