Just thinking on buying from a new range... I haven't done that for years, since my OG10mm splurge. Currently I have enough unpainted 15mm Naps to last forever, SS 18thC, 19thC, plastic ancients, VBCW, all varied makes but nothing newly produced or introduced to the market. Is this a sign of getting old, that whilst I'll have a butchers at new stuff, I'm not really bothered by it & not inclined to buy into it just because it's new?

I find I buy a lot more one offs because they appeal to me these days, as I mostly have all the bulk armies I could want.

I'm deliberately focusing back on my old stuff because I've had some of it so long that it's become classic vintage.

I still dabble in the new though esp Tricornes and WW 2
