OK, current tally is:-
- "Blue" (American) Brigade: 3 large or 4 medium infantry regiments, I cavalry unit, 2 guns
- "Red" (British) Brigade: 3 large infantry regiments, 1 light infantry unit (formed/reserve and skirmishers), 1 huge grenadier battalion (9 bases - could be 2 battalions + HQ), 2 guns
+ Assorted generals for each side.
The figures are organised/based for British Grenadier, so a medium unit is 16-20 figures, large is 20-28; the artillery is of various calibres in terms of the gun models, but can be whatever you want them to be.

Thank you chaps. I'll PM you separately before Christmas about specific numbers.
I'm off to the pub.
Can the rest of you do your lists by the time I get back please?

I've no idea what my final list will until at least mid to end of April...
Re: Ayton 2020 - Sunday 18th Century Game
It doesn’t really matter Andy. We’ll all end up fighting against Gary’s troops and we’ll still be outnumbered.

A good point, well made.Count Belisarius wrote: ↑Sun Dec 22, 2019 10:01 am I've no idea what my final list will until at least mid to end of April...
However, during the meanwhilst I'll put you down for two brigades of four foot battalions, one brigade of three horse regiments/large squadrons and a couple of field guns. You, and you alone, can have some Red Indians if, and only if, you find yourself opposed to Simon in a scenario.

Another good point well made.
We'd need a bigger hall and an Ayton week to fight through a game with that many troops.
